Due to the fact that it is expensive and sometimes difficult to carry out installations and assembly in the offshore industry, it is sensible to do as much of the assembly and testing off-site as possible.   

The shown plant is mounted on an epoxy-coated, construction iron skid with drip tray.

The plant is designed for 9 m³/h and consists of filter bags for removal of mechanical impurities, scavenger plant for removal of organic, suspended matter, demineralization plant, plant for neutralization of regeneration chemicals, and a central electric control cabinet.

This complete water treatment plant is made for a 90 MW power plant in Africa. The plant is designed for producing 

  • 1.5 m³/h ultra pure water for turbine
  • 7.5 m³/h demineralised cooling water
  • 2.0 m³/h water for fire fighting etc.

The skid comprises the following water treatment plants: Filtration, activated carbon filter, UV-disinfection, dosing of antiscalant, mechanical filtration, double-pass reverse osmosis, EDI (electrodeionization unit). Everything is controlled by a central PLC with touch screen.

The automation for sliding doors SC type is based in a system with motorgear, thanks to the worm reduction gear, the door is manually-movable in case of power failure.

The motion transmission between the door leaf and the motorgear is via a toothed belt. The control box is made in white anti-corrosion IP65 ABS. The connections between the control and the motor are pre-wired thanks to a fast strong connector in the lower part of the ABS box.

The control software is an Incold exclusivity. The operating voltage is 220V, 50 Hz. The control of the door leaf positioning is controlled by an encoder installed in the motorgear. The adjustment of the door speed is controlled by an inverter and an encoder. A color display with

Touch screen technology, installed on the external side of the control box, allows to control the opening and closing of the door. Through the display you can easily adjust and control the door functions such as speedy, acceleration/ deceleration ramps, partial opening, automatic reclosing, count of the openings, status of the safety devices. The main crush-prevention safety device is a sensitive bar resistant type located on the vertical edge of the door leaf which, in case of collision with an obstacle, instantly blocks the door and reverses the motion, sending a signal to the panel by means of wireless system.

A “transmitter-receiver” photocell, in addition to the sensitive bar, prevents physical contact between the door leaf in motion and the obstacle, blocking the door instantly and reversing its motion in order to ensure the function and durability of the sensitive bar.

All doors model SC are in compliance with standard EN 13241-1 and 1 and are subject to initial type testing by a notified organization that has issued the marking. Therefore, all doors are marked with an identification label with the marking.

Door for “Controlled Atmosphere” cold rooms for preservation and ripening where the internal temperature is not lower than -5°C; it guarantees the hermtic seal of the cold room.

A - Frame in plastic material internally reinforced in steel, white, with gasket tightening handwheels to ensure the gas seal.

The PVC strip curtains are suitable for separating different working areas and they serve as flexible barriers next to isothermal doors, to reduce the thermal loss or the entry of hot air (to prevent condensation) during the daily operation of opening and closing.

They are made of:

  • Plastic support in dark grey color consisting of a profile to be fixed to the panel by self tapping screws and a plastic covering molded as part of the same support, to cover the structure and to give an aesthetical enhanced result, easy to clean and without sharp edges, (dowels available on demand).
